Partnership Bankruptcy Status Inquiry is currently not available online as it is only available at the Insolvency Department of Malaysia Headquarters in Putrajaya.

Note that the Insolvency Department is responsible to print all original certificates requested via e-Insolvency’s portals. Nonetheless, if you wish to acquire the certificate, there are several ways where you can obtain it:
“Search results may turn out to be invalid due to typos and this is a very common problem among users when conducting a search. “Hence, we have future plans to curb this problem by making searches simpler where individuals are only required to key in their IC number. Consequently, there will be less room for mistakes,” adds Jaafar. It is understandable that problems do occur, especially when it comes to utilising modern technologies. So far, the problems that crop up are non-updated cases and individuals experiencing a slow system server. “When there’s technology involved, system glitches are unavoidable but we have anticipated these problems in advance. “Thus, we have set up helpdesks to attend to these problems and settle it immediately,” says Datuk Ahmadi Haji Asnawi, Director-General Insolvency Department Malaysia, PM’s Department. As e-Insolvency continues to improve its system, Insolvency Department of Malaysia has a number of impending plans to upgrade the system and efforts to create a more efficient system are currently in the process. “At present, individuals can only print a receipt copy (draft form) of their search results, due to security reasons. However, we are in the midst of planning to expand this service that enables individuals to print the original certificate through the web portals,” says Datuk Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid, Director-General, Legal Affairs Division, PM’s Department. “Hopefully by the end of this year, all plans for e-Insolvency will come into place so that the public can enjoy and make full use of this user-friendly service,” adds Abdullah Sani.
